Journalist, activist......whatever label you give her, June Callwood is an amazing woman. Absolutely inspiring to the end, George Stomboulopoulos interviewed her this week just before she went into palliative care. If you read the comments there are a lot of accolades for George's interview, but quite frankly June knows full well how to help an interviewer along by being objective, sensitive and open, even about the difficult topic of dying. She was diagnosed with inoperable cancer a few years ago and has "been very busy" up until now, no time for treatments.
Leaves one inspired and with little reason to complain.
